What is change reconciliation?

Change reconciliation is how Qontext applies an automated change to a file in the context repository without a person reviewing it first. It's the default path for files that don't have change review turned on, as distinct from files marked "Require review," where a person has to accept or discard each change instead.

Why change reconciliation exists

Not every file in a repository needs a human checkpoint before it updates. Requiring review on every file would slow down the exact self-maintaining behavior the context repository is built for. Change reconciliation lets routine, automated changes apply on their own, reserving human review for the files that actually need it.
