Context in Slack
Ask and update your company's context repository without leaving Slack.
Most questions and decisions in a company happen in Slack, not in a dedicated app. Answering a question needs a specific document or fact, and a decision reached in a thread needs to be captured somewhere durable, but doing either usually means leaving the conversation to open another tool.
Questions get re-asked, decisions get lost
Someone asks a question that was already answered before, and answering it again costs someone's time. A team reaches a decision in a thread, and unless someone remembers to copy it into a doc afterward, it stays buried in that thread. Everyone who wasn't there starts from zero the next time it comes up.
Ask and capture directly in the thread
Mention @Qontext in any channel or thread it has joined. Ask it something, and it searches the context repository and every connected source, then answers in the same thread. Tell it what the conversation just settled, and it writes that into the context repository directly, so the decision is captured where it was made instead of depending on someone documenting it manually.
Get started
Install Qontext tag and add it to the channels where company questions and decisions happen.
Invite @Qontext to private channels; public channels selected for the app join automatically.
Mention @Qontext to ask a question or to write what a thread just decided into the context repository.
